About “I Am • I Have”
Creative coaching for burnout, caregiving, and reclaiming self.
I’m Suzy, and I Am • I Have was born from a life lived in extremes: deep creative fulfillment and deep emotional fatigue. I’ve spent 20+ years in the fashion and creative industries — thriving in idea generation and execution, yet often pushed beyond what was sustainable. Like so many others, I loved what I did… until the pressure and misalignment of corporate life turned it into something else. Burnout wasn’t just a buzzword — it became my baseline.
At the same time, my personal life called me to step into something even harder: caregiving. With one brother lost to cancer, and another navigating life with cognitive challenges, I found myself alone in caring for my aging parents — both now in their 90s. When my dad suffered a brain bleed and was hospitalized for 63 days, I watched the system nearly kill him, not the condition. I advocated, questioned, researched, pushed back — and ultimately, helped him reclaim his life. He walked again. He moved again. He thrived. Not because of the care system, but because someone was there to see his full humanity — and fight for it.
This experience changed me forever. It showed me what it means to show up when it’s hard. To trust your gut. To grieve, and keep going. To find strength in stillness, and truth in expression.
I Am • I Have is a coaching program for people who are navigating those in-between spaces:
Between who they were and who they’re becoming
Between burnout and balance
Between holding it all together and finally letting some of it go
It’s a space for caregivers, creatives, and anyone in a season of change. We use tools like guided conversation, journaling, creative prompts, and gentle self-reflection to help you reconnect with your energy, identity, and inner resources. This isn’t art therapy — but it is healing through creative process. It’s about finding your breath again. Your “yes” again. Your self.
Because you are not just what’s happened to you.
You are what you create next.
Why I Am • I Have
“I Am • I Have” was born from the belief that healing and growth begin with naming what’s true. It’s a gentle invocation — part affirmation, part intention. “I Am” honors who we are in this moment: tired, strong, overwhelmed, creative. “I Have” reminds us of our inner resources, tools, and the capacity to receive support. Rooted in the language of manifestation but grounded in real-life transitions, this space invites you to slow down, reconnect, and create a life that feels like yours again — one breath, one brushstroke, one boundary at a time.
